Logo Progress

I decided to go with my idea of the product "Dis-pense-Key". I made a few sketches (which I'll post/scan in later) and then play around in Illustrator until I came up with a concept I want to try and improve on. I'm a beginner in this program, so some effects and techniques I'm still learning how to do. Once I get better at it, I'm sure I'll be able to do more with it

Here are a few of my ideas of logo for product/services:

This first one was suppose to be for clothing wear that had built in music system. There might be something like it out there, but I was thinking this product would be built into the end of the sleeve (by the wrist). Just a the press of a button and music starts playing.

tired of carrying out a ring of keys. The product holds all of them in one dispense box, that each key is numbered and at the press of a button, the key you need will dispense out. 

 

A mechanical pencil that will play music as you write with it.

Tutor-quest is an app that will help you with your homework or any other questions you have faster than searching on the internet. 

SoundStation is a cafe/lounge like place where you can pay a small fee to sit and listen to music as you study. Just sit at a station, pick up or plug in your head phones in the sound box and study away.   

This is a app service that is about sending/showing your love for a someone. You can also order things to be sent to them.

 

A friend of mine has a gift basket business. I was trying to make her an official logo. 

Product/Logo Sketch Assigment Part 1

I've always tried to stay away from making logos, but lately clients that I have got for my freelance have wanted logos. I won't put myself down and say I'm not good at making them, but designing logos hasn't always been my strong point. The next assignment coming up in my digital applications 2 class will be to do "Product and Logo Sketches", which I need to come up with
3-5 different ideas and a name for each idea. So I will think on it and write about what I come up with in my next post.

Well a few ideas that come to mind now is a logo sketch for my husband's computer repair business, my friend's gift basket biz, and then a made up product/service that I will figure out soon.

More in Illustrator

The more practice I get, the better I get at using this program. Here's some shapes I used extrude/bevel on or revolved effect. I'm going to keep working at it and see what I can come up with next.

Learning More in Illustrator

I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of this program. I've been using it more in my work at school and freelance. Adobe Illustrator is a program that I need to learn and use as a designer, because my work will turn out even better with what I'm learning in class. I am getting better at creating vector images, using the pen tool (somewhat), and different techniques that are useful when working with shapes and objects. So I'm eager to see what next and hope I continue to get a good grasp on it.
